Company History
International Carriers (Tilbury) Inc was established in 2002 by a group experienced in the steel hauling industry. Consisting of 25 Owner-Operators and office staff as shareholders, the beginnings of a new venture unfolded and we’ve never looked back. Over the years we continue to surround ourselves with talented, dedicated and committed staff and Owner-operators. This makes a great team. In 2006, we moved to our newly built office in Comber, ON. We have grown and continue to thrive in the steel industry with our commitment to our customers for service and the many years combined of transporting steel, dies and steel products. We specialize in this field and it shows. We are big enough to provide superior service, small enough to provide personal service. |

Community Involvement
Bras for a Cause, June of 2007
June was a great time for the staff, owner-operators, customers, friends and family of ICI. Over $5,000 was generated from an idea the staff had to raise money for Breast Cancer awareness. Staff, Owner-Operators, customers, friends, and family were all asked to donate a bra and with it, a donation of money. The bras would be strung around our parking lot on the day of the event with an outside BBQ to raise more money. It was well attended and the donations were great.

Hang Cancer Out To Dry, September of 2013
Bras for a Cause in 2007 was such a success we decided to do it again, this time we included the men too! Staff, owner-operators, customers, friends and family of ICI were asked to decorate a bra or underwear and send them in with a monetary donation which was all sent to The Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation Ontario or Prostate Cancer Canada. On the day of our event, we held a poker run, raffle and also an afternoon barbeque. The donated bras and underwear were hung along the ICI driveway on a gigantic clothesline and later laundered and donated to women’s and men’s shelters. The event was quite successful and we were able to raise over $5,000 for the Canadian Breast Cancer Foundation Ontario and over $3,500 for Prostate Cancer Canada.

Spaghetti Benefit Dinner, January of 2015
Staff, owner-operators, customers, vendors, friends and family of ICI came together again to help a young family through a difficult time. This was one of our own Owner-Operators, who fell sick and his family. The support we received from customers, vendors, friends and family of ICI was tremendous. Donations for food, gas and $$$ were collected for the family and donated items were used for a live auction. Tickets to the event sold out and we were thankful for the generosity of our customers, vendors, co-workers, friends and family which made the fundraiser a true success.
